I've been using Retin-A 0.1% Cream for about a month now, and while I've seen some improvement in my acne, the burning sensation is almost unbearable. I've tried using it every other day as suggested, but it's still quite tough to deal with. I'm using a pea-sized amount and applying it to clean, dry skin as directed. Anyone else go through this? How can I make this more bearable? I'm wondering if I should give up on this treatment or if there's a way to mitigate the side effects.

I've been using Retin-A for years and only experienced a little bit of irritation. I think it might be different for everyone.

Try applying it after a light shower and a gentle moisturizer. I had to adjust the frequency of applications. I can't use it every day, just every other day.

I've been using Retin-A for a while and I never experienced any burning. It may be the way you're applying it. Just a thought.

I feel your pain! I started with every other day and eventually worked my way up to every night. It took a good 2 weeks for my skin to adjust to it but it's worth the wait.
