I've been struggling with scalp psoriasis for years, and my doctor recently prescribed Fluocinolone Acet 0.01% Scalp Oil. I've used it for a couple of weeks now, and I'm not sure if I'm seeing any significant improvement. Has anyone else tried this? If so, how long did it take to see results? Also, what are some of the side effects I should be aware of? My GP mentioned skin discolouration, but what about other minor annoyances?

This stuff is a lifesaver. I've been dealing with psoriasis for ages. I use it in conjunction with a humidifier at night, because my dermatologist says dry air can aggravate the symptoms, and it works wonders. I actually had to stop using the oil for a while because of a weird rash, so I completely understand monitoring for any signs of allergic reactions.

I've had a similar experience with both this and the fluocinolone acetonide shampoo. This oil really seems to help with the redness and swelling. I've been using it for the last two weeks, and the itching has decreased by about 70%. My only issue is the stinging sensation when I first apply it—it's like a bit of a calming, numbing sensation, so I just try and tolerate it for the benefits.

Fluocinolone Acet 0.01% Scalp Oil is amazing for psoriasis, but it can also help with eczema. I've been using it for a month to take care of my daughter's scalp eczema, and it's clearing right up. I've also been applying it at night and leaving it on overnight.

It's been a few months for me, and my headaches are getting worse when I use this. I haven't had a chance to talk to my doctor yet, but I'm worried about whether it could be Cushing's syndrome.
