I've been taking Adthyza 0.5gr (30mg) Tablets for my hypothyroidism for about three months now, and I've noticed some hair loss. I know it's a common side effect, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what they did about it. The medication has helped my metabolism immensely, but the hair loss is getting quite noticeable. I've been trying different shampoos and conditioners, and I'm even thinking about getting a wig, but I'd love to hear if there are any other solutions I should consider.

I’ve been on Adthyza for a year now, and I’m still experiencing hair loss. Every time I go to the doctor, they brush it off as a “normal” side effect. I wish I could find a solution to this. If anyone has had luck with anything, please share!

Anxious to switch medications. What were the side effects from your new meds?

I've had a hard time with Adthyza as well. The hair loss was terrible, and I ended up switching to a different medication because the side effects were too much to handle. I wish I could have stuck with it because it did help my metabolism, but unfortunately, it just didn't work out for me.

Have you tried biotin supplements? My aunt had a similar issue and she swears by them. I think it’s worth a shot since hair loss can be really hard to deal with. Also, remember to keep your stress levels low and have a balanced diet. It can really help!

I'm glad to hear some people have managed this! I think I'll talk to my doctor next visit.

I experienced the same thing when I first started taking Adthyza. It was really rough, but I talked to my doctor and he adjusted my dosage a bit. After a few months, the hair loss stopped and my hair started growing back. Plus, the medication really helped my energy levels and overall well-being.

Maybe consider a different haircare routine or products.

I had a friend who had major hair loss from this. Thinking ahead, she dyed her hair before starting treatment to minimize the stress of seeing it go. Hilarious but true.

How long did it take for you to feel better after the switch? It sounds like a 50/50 as others had decent results.
