I've recently started using Fluocinolone 0.01% Oil Drops for chronic ear eczema and I've got some questions about it. It says it helps with the inflammation, but I've heard there are some pretty intense side effects. Anyone else using this? How has it worked out for you? I need personal experiences and tips from people who understand what I'm going through. I'm mostly worried about the allergic reactions and how quickly they could happen.

Is it normal for the drops to sting a bit when you first apply them? I read that some people have no reaction at all, but I've felt a bit of burning every time I use them.

I've been using these for about a month now, and they've been a game-changer for my eczema. Definitely follow the instructions closely, though.

I started this a few weeks back. It does seem to help with the inflammation, but I've noticed some dryness in my ear. But it's nothing too bad that some extra ear drops cant help out with. I've had no other side effects. I think it's worth it for the relief I'm getting from the itching and redness.

I've had no issues with this stuff. Strictly anecdoctal, but I like it as much as any other steroid drop. I'll let everyone know when I start to grow hairs out of my ears though.

Has anyone else noticed any of the skin changes mentioned in the side effects? So far I've just had some minor itching at the application site, but I'm worried about the potential long-term effects. Anyone have advice?
