I've been prescribed Hydrocortisone Butyrate Cream 0.1% for my eczema and psoriasis. I'm a bit worried about the side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone else used this cream? How was your experience? Any tips or advice on how to use it effectively? I've read about the possible side effects, but I'm hoping someone here can share some real-world experiences. Thanks in Advance!

I've had good results with it, but it does burn a bit at first. It's like a fire that goes out. Stick with it for a while and see how you go. I used it for a month and my skin is much better.

Be careful not to get it in your eyes or mouth. It's really strong stuff and can cause a lot of irritation if you're not careful. Also, talk to your doctor about using it on kids if you have little ones.

I've used it for my eczema. It helped a lot with the itching and redness. Just be careful not to use too much, or you might thin out your skin.

I had a bad reaction to it. I started getting hives and my skin got really irritated. I would suggest talking to your doctor about other options if you notice any severe side effects.

My doc told me to only use it for short periods. It's great for flare-ups, but not for long-term use. Also, moisturize regularly to keep your skin hydrated.

I used it on my face for a few days and ended up with some acne. Not sure if it was a coincidence or not, but I'd be careful where you apply it. It helped with my psoriasis though.

I was worried about the weight gain side effect, but it never happened to me. Everyone's different though, so be aware of all the side effects.
