Does anyone have experience with Cold & Flu Nighttime Liquicaps 16s for nighttime relief?
I've been suffering from a nasty cold and flu combo lately. I've been taking some Cold & Flu Nighttime Liquicaps 16s (Acetaminophen, Dextromethorphan, and Doxylamine) to help manage my symptoms. They seem to be helping with my cough and runny nose, but I’m not sure if there are better options. Has anyone else tried these? I've heard they can be a bit strong, but so far, I'm okay. What are some of the side effects to look out for? I've read the list, but it's always good to hear personal experiences. Also, I've been feeling much drowsier than usual, is this normal? I’d appreciate it if anyone can share their experiences or recommend something different.

I'm not sure how they compare to other cold remedies, but these really help with the sneezing, cough, and congestion. It feels like the Doxylamine really shines here.
I had to stop taking these because they made me feel too drowsy and dizzy, I ended up taking them at night, but I still felt the side effects in the morning. I switched to something else, and now I'm much better. I really think these might be too strong.
I've taken Cold & Flu Nighttime Liquicaps 16s for years and they work great for me. My only problem is the pill size can be a bit overwhelming, even with a drink. I've never had any side effects, it's amazing.
I feel like these make me a bit more jittery during the night. I was surprised, I didn’t expect that. I thought I would have no problems sleeping, but I had this weird energy feeling I ended up taking them for two nights after the first one and decided they weren't for me.
I've found that if you take the capsules right before bed, you can avoid the drowsiness the next day. These have been a lifesaver for me during cold and flu season. I have taken Tylenol and cough syrup before, but these are much more effective. You just have to be careful with your dosage.
What about the liver problems? I've heard they can be pretty bad. Has anyone experienced those side effects?
I had a bad reaction to these once. I ended up with a rash all over my body and it was really scary. I thought I was having an allergic reaction and had to go to the ER. It turned out to be a severe skin reaction, so I wouldn't recommend these to anyone who has sensitive skin.
