Does anyone have experience with Levoxyl 0.15mg (150mcg) Tablets for hypothyroidism?
I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and my doctor prescribed Levoxyl 0.15mg (150mcg) Tablets. I've been taking it for a few weeks now, and while I feel a bit better, I'm still experiencing some tiredness and weight gain. Has anyone else had this experience? Any tips on how to manage the side effects? I've heard that it can take a while to find the right dose, so I'm trying to be patient. Also, I'm curious about the long-term effects and if anyone has noticed any significant changes over time.

I've actually had the opposite problem. I was taking Levoxyl and felt like I was constantly losing weight without trying. Once I mentioned it to my doctor I was switched to a lower concentrated medication.
I've been on Levoxyl for about a year now and it's been a game-changer. Stick with it, it might take a few months to see the full effects. Make sure to take it on an empty stomach and stay consistent with your dosing time.
Seriously, the side effects can be rough at first. I had a lot of mood swings and anxiety. But it's worth it to feel normal again. Hang in there, it gets better.
I noticed some really weird skin reactions at first. Make sure to talk to your doctor if you notice anything unusual. Might not be Levoxyl itself, but maybe some interaction.
I had the same issues with tiredness and weight gain at first. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water and eating healthily. It can take a while to find the right balance, but it's worth it in the end.
If you're struggling with weight gain, try incorporating more exercise into your routine. It might help with the fatigue too. Good luck!
I feel like Levoxyl helped a bit, but I still have days where I feel really weak. My doctor had to adjust my dosage a few times, and I think it's finally working better. Hang in there!
I've been on Levoxyl for about 5 years now and it's been a lifesaver. I can't imagine how bad I would feel without it. As for side effects, I've had none. Good luck!
This thread is hilarious. Every single comment is like a horror story. I feel bad for you guys.
I feel like I'm constantly adjusting my dosage. One day I feel great, the next I feel like I'm dying. It's a roller coaster, but worth it.
