I was recently prescribed Orencia (250mg Inj, 1 Vial) for my rheumatoid arthritis, but I'm a bit nervous about starting it. I've read that it can be really effective in reducing inflammation and joint damage, but the side effects list is quite long and a bit scary. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. How effective was it for you, and did you encounter any significant side effects? Did you change your diet or exercise routines while taking Orencia, and if so, how did that impact your overall experience?

I had some bad flu-like symptoms for the first few weeks, but they eventually went away. Stick it out if you can, because it might just get better.

Orencia gave me the worst headache I've ever had in my life after my first injection. I thought I was having a stroke. Haven't touched it since.

Orencia really helped with my joint pain and stiffness. I noticed a difference within a few weeks. However, I did have to be careful about infections. I caught a few colds that turned into chest infections, so I had to be really diligent about washing my hands and avoiding sick people. It's a trade-off, but for me, it was worth it.

I've heard it can help with Psoriatic Arthritis too. Anyone have good experiences with that? I thought it would be worth it to try since my other treatments stopped working.
