I've been using Phexxi for a few months now, it works great and it's non-hormonal unlike my previous birth control methods. The application is easy and it doesn't affect my libido. I haven't experienced any of the serious side effects, but I did have some mild vaginal discomfort at first, which went away after a couple of uses. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a hormone-free option.
I think it's important to remember that everyone's body reacts differently to medications. While some people might experience side effects, others might not. Always consult your doctor before starting any new medication.
I had a horrible UTI after using it for a month. I immediately stopped using it and contacted my doctor. I would recommend going for other options, but if you are pretty sure about it then keep an eye out for UTI symptoms.
It's great that there are non-hormonal options like Phexxi out there. But I think it's important to weigh the pros and cons and make an informed decision. Always good to hear other people's experiences too.
Sidenote: Anyone else find the name super weird? I can't stop giggling every time I say it. But seriously, how is it for you guys?
I have been using it for a couple of months and I haven't had any side effects. I do know that it's important to use it consistently and make sure you're applying it correctly. I'd recommend following the instructions carefully and maybe even talking to your doctor about how to use it the best way
I tried it but it really burned when I used it and it was incredibly annoying to use. I had to stop using it after a few weeks, maybe it just wasn't for me.
