Does Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Wash 227gm Really Help With Acne? My Skin is Dry and I am Concerned About Side Effects
I've been struggling with acne for a while now, and I've heard good things about Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Wash. I ordered the 227gm bottle and I am excited to try it. However, I am a bit worried about the side effects, especially the severe ones. I've seen people mentioning dryness, but what if I experience hives or skin peeling? How serious are allergic reactions? I've also read that some people feel a stinging sensation. Does this go away over time? Also, how do I know if my reaction to the wash is normal or if I need to seek medical help?

I've had great results with Benzoyl Peroxide. It dried out my skin at first, but that's normal. Just use a good moisturizer and you'll be fine. It's worth it for the clear skin!
I’m pretty sensitive and my skin just couldn’t handle it. I’ve switched to a different treatment. I think it’s great for some people, but not for everyone. Use it for a week or so. If your skin is normal and you think it’s working, stick with it. If your skin feel like it’s burning or peeling, stop and call a doctor.
The stinging sensation is normal. It will be annoying at first. Just keep using it and it will go away after a week. If you experience more than that, stop and call a doctor
I’m skeptical. My dermatologist recommended some other products and I am hesitant to start a new regimen. Has anyone here used benzoyl peroxide for more than 6 months?
How bad is the dryness? Like, is it just flaky skin, or is it like the Sahara desert level dryness?
I'm on the fence about this product, because my friend broke out in hives and had to go to the hospital. Is this common? Should I be worried?
