I've been dealing with eczema for years, and my doctor recently prescribed Hydrocortisone 2.5% Cream to help with the itching and inflammation. I've tried using it for a week now, and I'm not sure if I'm seeing much of a difference. I've read about the potential side effects, including things like high blood sugar and skin thinning. But, I am more worried about the urgent side effects, like allergic reactions which seem to be rare. Has anyone else had experience with this cream? How long did it take to see results? What about side effects? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

It's great for short-term use, but I've heard it can cause issues if used for too long. Always follow your doctor's instructions.

I've used Hydrocortisone 2.5% Cream for my dermatitis, and it worked wonders. Took about a week to notice a difference, but the itching stopped, and the redness went down. No side effects for me! Be patient, it might take a bit.

I've been on it for a year now, and I've seen no improvement! Just dryness and thinning skin. Not worth it for me.

I'm a bit worried about the side effects. Especially the high blood sugar parts. I'm going to keep an eye on that.

This stuff is a lifesaver when my allergies flare up and I get an itchy rash. I swear by it. But always good to be cautious, I guess.

I think it's important to remember that everyone's skin is different. What works for one person might not work for another.

I was prescribed this for my son's eczema. It worked great, but be careful with the amount you apply. A little goes a long way.
