I've been using Stanback Headache Powder for a while, but I'm wondering if the added caffeine is really worth it. I took a pack today and I didn't feel any different than when I take plain aspirin. What's your experience?

Caffeine in small doses can be great for alertness, but it's also known to cause anxiety and insomnia. I tend to avoid it before bed. Has anyone found a good alternative?

I've had great success with it. I get migraines and it helps more than other pain relievers I've tried. A lot of people have told me I should switch to a migraine-specific medication though.

I've never had any issues with it. Isn't this just an old brand? My doctor always recommended taking Tylenol or Advil instead but I don't know anyone who has tried it.

I don't like caffeine and if I take it before bed I cannot sleep. I would rather have ibuprofen.

I had a urinary tract infection and the doctor told me to avoid aspirin, so I switched to acetaminophen instead.

I tried it once and it gave me the jitters. I'm sticking with plain aspirin from now on.

Medications that include caffeine do work better for me. Some say it's placebo. It is a little more expensive, but I get better results.

I don’t think this is enough caffeine to worry about. One cup of coffee has 95mg. I've never had any side effects from Stanback.

Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor, which means it narrows blood vessels. This can help reduce blood flow to the brain, which can alleviate headaches. But it's not so obvious if it's better than regular aspirin or if it's just a placebo.
