I've recently been prescribed Dorzolamide-Timolol eye drops for glaucoma. I've heard mixed things about it. What are your experiences like? What are the side effects I should worry about?

I've heard it can cause a weird metallic taste in your mouth for a bit. Just a heads up, since it can be a bit alarming if you're not prepared for it.

I hate the stinging. I've tried to numb the area a bit with a cold compress before application, but not sure if it really helps.

I haven't seen anything about these drops being used for other eye conditions but glaucoma. Anyone else have a different experience?

Really? I have not gotten that effect. It just feels really weird putting it in my eye, but maybe that's just my imagination.

I have glaucoma too. Make sure you know the emergency side effects. They're rare, but if you get a rash or eye pain after using these drops, you need to stop immediately and call your doctor.
