I started Doxorubicin 10mg Inj a few weeks ago as part of my cancer treatment. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this or care for someone who has. What side effects have you experienced, and how have you managed them? I've heard horror stories about the hair loss and nausea, but I'm hoping to get some practical advice on coping. Also, has anyone had issues with the serious side effects listed? I want to be prepared but not overly worried. Let's share our experiences and support each other through this journey.

I got the orange urine thing! I was freaking out, but my nurse said it was normal. Still weird to see though.

Tumor lysis syndrome is scary stuff. My dad had it, and it was a nightmare. Make sure you're staying hydrated and talking to your doctor about prevention strategies. It is a terrifying thing to go through as a patient.

I had a friend who had a bad experience with Doxorubicin. He ended up in the hospital with severe infections. Make sure you're monitoring for any signs of infection and keeping your immune system as strong as possible.

I can't believe a comment was complaining about hair loss. Are you serious? Imagine the positive of a world where me and the others we knew where still alive and suffering the worst side effects are a pain in the ass.

I was on Doxorubicin for breast cancer. The nausea was brutal, but my doctor recommended taking Zofran before each treatment, which helped a lot. Hair loss was tough, but I embraced the bald look with scarves and hats. Keep your spirits up!

I had a really bad experience with bleeding, which was super scary. I was vomiting blood and had black stools. I have to admit, it was really hard for me to deal with, even after I understood what was happening to me.

I lost my mom to cancer. She had an allergic reaction to Doxorubicin, and it was terrifying. The first thing she noticed was an itchy rash. It quickly escalated to hives and tightness in the throat. We rushed her to the ER and she was thankfully ok. Please be aware of these side effects. Get to the hospital immediately if you notice them.

Diarrhea and mouth sores were my biggest issues. I stocked up on good of the counter pain medications and used a pain numbing toothpaste to reduce the discomfort.

I've been lucky so far, only mild nausea and some hair loss. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

Feeling extremely tired or weak is normal. I slept a lot during my treatment. Listen to your body and rest when you need to. If it gets to a point where you can't do anything, get it checked out. It could be a symptom of a more serious issue.
