I've been taking Droxidopa 300mg capsules for about six months now to treat my neurogenic orthostatic hypotension (nOH). This medication has been a game-changer for me, but I've also had some side effects and concerns about it. I wanted to reach out and share my experience, and would love to hear it from others who may be experiencing the same thing. I have had many ups and downs with this medicine, and it has been interesting. I was initially prescribed Droxidopa to help with the symptoms of neurogenic orthostatic hypotension, which made daily activities incredibly challenging. Standing up would often cause dizziness, and sometimes even fainting, which scared me. Since starting this medication, I've noticed a significant improvement in my condition. The process of my blood vessels tightening has helped with my blood pressure a lot, and it is easier to stand up again. However, I have experienced some side effects, particularly dizziness and headaches, which have been manageable. What has been really great is that I have been able to be more active and do more things without having to worry that I will fall from blood pressure issues.

I started taking Droxidopa a few months ago, and it's been pretty rough. I've had some pretty bad side effects, but it's also helped manage my symptoms. I've spoken to my doctor about it, and they have been very helpful. I also found that taking it with food helped reduce the upset stomach I was experiencing. It's also been helpful for me to talk to others online who have the same problems, being able to share experiences and have them understood is very rewarding. I've also heard that some people find that increasing their salt intake helps, but I haven't tried that one yet.

I've been on Droxidopa for a few years now, and it's been a lifesaver. The side effects can be tough, but the relief from nOH symptoms is worth it. Make sure to stay hydrated and eat small, frequent meals to minimize dizziness.

I had a weird rash a few months into taking Droxidopa. Turns out it was an allergic reaction. My doctor switched me to another medication, and I feel much better now.

Has anyone else experienced severe headaches while on Droxidopa? I'm wondering if this is a common side effect or if I should talk to my doctor about adjusting my dose.
