Duavee 0.45-20 Tablets is a combination pill that contains a dose of estrogen and bazedoxifene to help manage symptoms of menopause. The estrogen component is designed to help reduce the incidence of hot flashes and address bone thinning, a common occurrence in postmenopausal women. The bazedoxifene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator that helps protect the uterus lining. So, anyone have any experience or thoughts on this medication?

I switched to Duavee from Premarin and I think it has been better for me. Can anyone else say the same?

All these medications seem to have a handful of side effects that can be scary. Anyone have a scary story about Duavee? I need some reassurance that I'm not alone in this. I'm worried about these side effects.

An interesting note is that Duavee has advantages over traditional estrogen therapy because it helps protect against endometrial hyperplasia. This means no extra progesterone is required, which can be a serious advantage for women who can't take or don't want to take progesterone.

I've been on Duavee for about a year now. I'm happy to say the hot flashes and night sweats are soooo much better. But man it's a pricey medicine. Insurance does not cover it fully. Might look for generics

Always consult with your healthcare provider before making any changes to your medication regimen. Side effects can vary widely and it's important to weigh the benefits and risks based on your personal health profile.

I feel like all of these medications are a necessity for some people. I have a lot of friends who are menopausal and they are all different. One thing Duavee gives me peace with is that I don't have to take a separate progesterone. It's all in one pill.
