I've been using Dulcolax 5mg EC Tablets for the past week to deal with some temporary constipation issues. The medication contains Bisacodyl, which helps by increasing the movement in the intestines and adding more water to the stool. It's been quite effective for me, but I wanted to share my experience and gather some insights from others who have used it.

I started with one tablet a day, and it took about 6-8 hours to work. I didn't experience any severe side effects, but I did get some mild stomach cramps. I've heard that some people have had more serious reactions, so I wanted to ask: has anyone else had any unusual or severe side effects?

Also, I'm curious about how long people have used Dulcolax safely. The packaging says it's for short-term relief, but some people seem to use it for longer periods. Is this safe, or should I be looking into other options if I need long-term relief?

Lastly, it would be great to hear any tips or tricks for making the experience as smooth as possible. I've read that some people take it with food to avoid cramping, but I'm open to any advice. Thanks!

Be careful with long-term use. I've heard stories of people becoming dependent on laxatives, and it's not pretty. Always consult a doctor if you need long-term relief.

I've used Dulcolax for short-term constipation issues and it works well. I did get some cramping but nothing too bad. Just make sure to stay hydrated!

I take it with a big glass of water and it helps a lot. No side effects for me, but I didn't realise it could cause a serious allergic reaction. Good to know!

I used it once and felt like I was going to die from the cramping. Never again for me. Might try a different laxative next time.

I've been using Dulcolax for a few months now with no issues. It's been great for me, but I'm lucky to not have any side effects. Just make sure to talk to your doctor before long-term use.

I had hives after taking Dulcolax once. Scary stuff. Went to the ER and they told me to avoid it in the future. Just a heads-up for anyone who might be sensitive to it.

I had no idea Dulcolax could cause an allergic reaction. Scary stuff! I'll be more careful if I ever need to use it again.

I've used Dulcolax for years on and off, and it's been a lifesaver for me. I usually take it with a glass of warm water, and it works like a charm. No severe side effects here, but always good to be cautious.
