I was recently prescribed Duloxetine DR 40mg Capsules for my chronic pain and anxiety. I've been taking it for about a month now, and I've experienced some side effects, but I've also noticed a significant improvement in my mood and pain levels. I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else has had similar outcomes. The medication has definitely helped with my nerve pain from fibromyalgia, but I've been dealing with some dizziness and nausea. I'm considering talking to my doctor about adjusting the dose. Has anyone else had success with this medication for chronic pain? Are there any tips for managing the side effects? I'd love to hear from others who have tried this medication. I've done a lot of research, but personal experiences can be so valuable. I was impressed to hear about how the medication affects serotonin and norepinephrine, as this seems like a promising approach to treating chronic pain and anxiety. I've been very hesitant to go back to antidepressants and anti anxiety medications because of bad experiences in the past. Anyone with similar feelings?

I started taking Duloxetine a few months ago for depression and anxiety. It's helped a lot with my mood, but the side effects have been tough. I've had issues with dizziness, and last week I had a seizure. It was pretty scary. I didn't report it to the doctor because I figured it was from the change in medication. But when I read the list of urgent side effects, I'm thinking I should call the office. Anyone else have this experience? I know seizures can be serious, but if the medication is otherwise effective, it's a tradeoff. I need to weigh the risks. My doctor said the important thing is to report any serious side effects — he said he'd just rather be a bit more cautious and keep a close eye on me. Oh well, easy to say, hard to do.

I tried Duloxetine for a few weeks, but the side effects were too much for me. I had trouble sleeping, and I was always so sweaty. I don’t know if this happens to anyone else. I thought I was just imagining things because I was so stressed and I hadn’t had the best few months. It wasn't until I looked at the side effects that I realized it could be the medication. I’m not sure if it was worth it.

Does anyone know if Duloxetine interacts badly with other medications? I’m on a few things and I want to be careful. I only read the exclusions listed on the website, but I could have missed something. I know I should check with my doctor first. But so far it seems okay.

I've been on Duloxetine for a while for my neuropathy. It’s made a world of difference. I had some issues with dry mouth and constipation at first, but those have settled down. I can't believe how much better I feel. I can move around more, and I'm just more stable. I wish I had dove into this medication research earlier.

I’ve been taking Duloxetine for a few months for chronic pain, and it’s been a real lifesaver. I had some trouble with insomnia and excessive sweating, but my doctor said those should go away. I have to say, that motivation and the ability to get out of bed in the morning has made a big difference. I hope I can keep going with this for a long while. This medication has really helped.

I've been reading about the potential liver problems. Is anyone else worried about that?

I take Duloxetine for anxiety and it has been great. I feel so much more stable. One thing I noticed is that sometimes it’s hard to tell if my side effects are from the medication or just my condition, especially the fatigue and difficulty sleeping. I need to give it more time.

I've been on Duloxetine for a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my fibromyalgia. I did have some initial side effects like nausea and dizziness, but they went away after a few weeks. Now, I barely notice any side effects, and my pain levels are much more manageable. I also had some sexual problems, and it was a tough few months. It may be worth it though if the medication otherwise works well for you. I hope it gets better soon!

I just started Duloxetine and I’m feeling really dizzy. Should I be worried? I guess I know the answer. What a stupid question. I should be pro-active and call the doctor if it doesn't go away. I just needed to vent. I barely made it to work this morning.
