I've been taking Effexor 75mg for a few months now to manage my anxiety and depression. The medication has been helpful, but I've also experienced some side effects that have me a bit concerned. I've been having trouble sleeping and feeling dizzy at times, but nothing life-threatening. I've also had some issues with dry mouth and excessive sweating. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced any of these same problems? I want to know if anyone has any tips to deal with these side effects. How has everyone else been dealing with the side effects of Effexor? Are they getting better over time? Thanks for sharing your experiences.

I had the same issue with dizziness. My doctor suggested taking it with food, and it helped, So maybe give that a try. Also, remember to tell your doctor if any side effects get worse

This is a good thread. It might also help to exercise. I found that it helped with the fatigue and sometimes the dizziness. Just make sure to ease into it.

I've been on Effexor for a few months and I haven’t had any side effects. I have a pretty good experience with it. But I do hear these complaints a lot so I’ll keep an eye out.

I've been on this for 6 months and I wake up every morning feeling great! I just had a quick headache and upset stomach during the first few weeks. But nothing major. Keep going, it will get better.

I just started Effexor a few weeks ago, and I haven’t had any side effects yet. Fingers crossed it stays that way! I also heard that the generic version of this medication is as effective as the brand-name version. Is that true?

I've been on Effexor for a year now, and the side effects did lessen over time. It will take a bit, though. I found that staying hydrated helped with the dry mouth. Good luck!

I had the shakiness and anxiety thing too, but it went away after a few weeks. Just hang in there, I found that keeping a journal also helped me keep track of my moods.
