Elavil 25mg Tablets: Should I worry about the side effects?
I was prescribed Elavil 25mg Tablets for nerve pain, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication, and if so, what was your experience like? A redditor shared that it could cause anxiety or weight gain. I've heard that side effects can vary from person to person, so I'm curious about the diverse experiences out there and how to handle them. Did anyone experience an allergic reaction? It seems rare but it’s a question I’m curious about.

Elavil saved my life when I was suffering from severe anxiety. I even felt great not having to take Neurotin. I've had no side effects at all. It's worth a shot, but talk to your doc!
I've heard that some people have weird dreams on this stuff. Has anyone else experienced that? It's kinda creepy.
I had a friend who had a really bad experience with Elavil. She ended up in the hospital with some kind of allergic reaction. My advice: be really careful and keep an eye out for any signs of trouble. It's not worth going to the hospital.
Elavil helped me with migraines, but I had to deal with some weight gain and changes in taste. Not fun. You can ask your doctor whether the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. I want to start a thread asking what medications to use instead.
I've been on Elavil for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my nerve pain. I did have some dizziness at first, but it went away after a week. Just make sure to take it at night because it can make you sleepy.
I had hallucinations on this stuff. I thought I was going crazy. Stopped taking it and felt so much better. Serious side effects are rare, but they can happen.
I've been on Elavil for years and it's been fine. Just take it as prescribed and don't mix it with alcohol or other drugs. My doctor recommended taking it daily to get the most out of it.
Just started Elavil and I'm already feeling better. No side effects so far, but I'll keep you all posted. Fingers crossed!
This thread is scary. I’m considering taking Elavil for depression, but now I'm not so sure. Anyone have any advice on what to do? Consulting my doctor might be a good idea.
