I've been using Elidel 1% Cream for a few months now to treat my eczema, and I've seen some improvements. However, I've also experienced some side effects that have made me question whether it's the right treatment for me. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'd love to hear from others who have used this cream and get some advice on how to manage the side effects. Specifically, I'm curious about how long the local skin reactions last and if there are any home remedies or over-the-counter treatments that can help alleviate them. Additionally, I'm concerned about the potential for serious side effects, and I'm not sure if I should continue using the cream. Would love to hear your thoughts!

I've been using Elidel on and off for about a year now and my skin is much better. I still get flare-ups, but they're not as severe as they used to be. Just remember to give it time and be patient. It's different for everyone.

I had a really bad allergic reaction to Elidel. I broke out in hives and my skin pealed off in sheets. I went to the ER and they told me to never use it again. Be careful, folks!

I stopped using Elidel because I was worried about the increased risk of skin cancer. I switched to a different topical cream and it seems to be working just as well. Has anyone else made the switch?

My kid's doctor prescribed Elidel for her eczema, and it's been a lifesaver. No more sleepless nights from scratching! Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully and keep an eye out for any unusual reactions.

I found that applying a cool compress after using Elidel helped with the burning sensation. Also, make sure to keep the area moisturized throughout the day. It's been a game-changer for me. Give it a try and see if it makes a difference!

Be careful with Elidel. I had a minor skin infection and it worsened while using it. Turns out, it can weaken your skin's immune response. So if you have any open wounds or cuts, be extra cautious.

I've been using Elidel for a while now, and I've had great results. While it does sting a bit when I first apply it, it usually goes away quickly. I would say it is worth it in the long run.

Elidel worked wonders for my eczema, but my doctor told me to use it sparingly because of the risk of skin cancer. She recommended only using it when my eczema flares up and not as a preventative measure.

I've heard that Elidel is not recommended for long-term use. Has anyone had experience with that?

Don't let the side effects scare you off. Elidel is a great option when other treatments haven't worked. Just be sure to stay in touch with your doctor and monitor any changes in your skin. Always better to be safe than sorry!
