Elocon Ointment 45gm: Has Anyone Experienced Severe Side Effects?
I've been using Elocon Ointment 45gm for a week now to manage my eczema, and while it's helped with the itching and redness, I've been worried about the potential side effects. The package insert lists some pretty serious warnings, like signs of a weak adrenal gland and Cushing's syndrome. Has anyone else had issues with this medication? Should I be more concerned about these side effects or is it just paranoia? I want to make sure I'm not overlooking something serious. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I had some burning sensations when I used Elocon. Turns out I was applying too much. Make sure you're not overdoing it.
I've been on Elocon for a while and haven't had any major issues. Just some minor skin thinning, but my doctor said it's common. Make sure to follow the dosage exactly and you should be fine.
My dermatologist told me that the side effects are pretty rare and most people don't experience them. But it's always good to keep an eye out just in case. If you notice anything unusual, definitely call your doctor.
I wish they'd make a version without the steroid side effects. I've heard many horror stories about thinning skin and other issues. I'm leaning towards natural remedies but I'm not sure they work as well.
I used Elocon for a short time and got stretch marks. I stopped using it right away. Be very cautious with this stuff.
I've had Elocon before. It worked pretty well but I got some stretch marks from it, which wasn't great. I'm more cautious now and make sure to apply it sparingly and not for too long.
I had a bad reaction to it. My skin got really irritated and I had this weird tingling sensation. Switched to a different ointment and it was much better. Definitely talk to your doctor if you're feeling off.
I had a friend who used Elocon and ended up with some weird skin changes. She switched to a different cream and it cleared up. Just food for thought! Maybe try to see if a different medication works better for you.
I think the problem is that lots of people use this stuff and don't even read the side effects. The first time I used it I ended up with a rash. It's scary. Make sure you are careful and get doctor advice.
Seriously, who even remembers to read the side effects on these things? I applied it with no issues but I think it was because I used it so sparingly. But yeah, always listen to your doc! Good luck, man.
