Emend 150mg Soln For Inj, 1 Vial is a medication given by injection to help prevent nausea and vomiting that can be caused by certain types of chemotherapy. It works by blocking a natural substance in the body that triggers vomiting. As with any medication, it's important to be aware of the potential side effects and know when to seek medical attention. This thread will discuss the drug and its potential side effects, so please share your experiences with Emend and ask any questions you may have. My doctor prescribed Emend to me during my last round of chemo, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. How did you find it compared to other anti-nausea meds you've tried?

I tried Emend during my chemo and it was terrible. I couldn't keep anything down and I was constantly throwing up. My doctor switched me to a different med, and I'm so much better now. I just wish I had known it was going to be so bad.

Emend worked wonders for me. I barely had any nausea during my chemo sessions. I only had some minor stomach pain, but it was totally worth it. Kudos to Emend!

I had a terrible reaction to Emend. I broke out in hives and had trouble breathing. Scariest thing ever.

I'm just curious, do you think Emend would help with regular nausea or only chemo-induced nausea? I've been having issues lately and it would be so nice to eat a whole meal again.

I've heard that the flare up of skin burning is a pretty common reaction. Might be worth asking the nurse to keep an eye on the injection site. I've had a similar situation with another med.

Just a heads up, Emend can cause low blood cell counts. If you experience unexplained bleeding, bruising, or persistent fatigue, let your doctor know ASAP. I had a friend who ignored it and ended up in the hospital.

I've had a few friends go through chemo, and the ones who used Emend had a much easier time with nausea than those who didn't. It's definitely worth discussing with your oncologist. I just wish it didn't come with such a high price tag.

I'm going through chemo treatments at the moment and my doctor recommended Emend. I'm nervous about the side effects but I guess I have to roll with it.
