Empliciti 300mg Inj: My Experience with Infusion and Side Effects
I started using Empliciti 300mg Inj a few months ago as part of my treatment for multiple myeloma. The infusion process has been manageable, but I've experienced some side effects that I wasn't expecting. I've had a few bouts of dizziness and some muscle spasms, which have been a bit uncomfortable. My doctor assured me that these are common side effects, but I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences. I've also noticed some changes in my mood, which has been a bit challenging to deal with. Have any of you had mood swings or other emotional changes while on this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences and any tips you might have for coping with these side effects. Also, I'm wondering if anyone has had any issues with infections, as that seems to be a significant risk. I'm always paranoid about catching something, especially with all the respiratory viruses going around. What precautions do you take to stay healthy while on this treatment? Another thing I've noticed is that my appetite has decreased a bit, and I've been feeling tired more often. I'm trying to stay active and eat as healthily as I can, because I know my body needs the strength to fight this. If anyone has any advice on staying energized and maintaining a healthy diet during treatment, I'd really appreciate it. It's been a journey, for sure, but I'm hoping that sharing our experiences can help us all get through it a little bit easier. Empliciti is showing promise in my treatment, so I'm willing to deal with these side effects for the benefit of the medication. How is everyone else finding the treatment so far? Let's chat and support each other through this!

I started getting really bad headaches after the infusions. My doctor prescribed some painkillers to help out. Have you tried anything like that? Try to be open with your healthcare team!
I have to say, the infusion process itself was way easier than I expected. The clinic staff was great, and they made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Plus, there is medication to help with the side effects. So definitely communicate clearly with your nurse.
I haven't had any serious side effects yet, but I've been really careful about avoiding infections. I carry hand sanitizer everywhere and avoid crowded places. It's a bit of a hassle, but it's worth it to stay safe.
For anyone dealing with mood swings, I found that regular exercise and a consistent sleep schedule have made a huge difference. It's tough, but worth it!
I’m lucky I haven’t had any serious side effects, just a bit of nausea here and there. Just want to say, thanks for sharing your experience. It’s so helpful to know we’re not alone in this fight.
That's interesting that you had muscle spasms. I've had them too! I wasn't sure if it was the meds, the lack of exercise, or both. I started doing some light yoga and it really helped. The dizziness sucked, but I'm glad you're pushing through. You're not alone!
I’ve been on Empliciti for a few months and I've had some weird skin reactions. Nothing too serious, but it's something to keep an eye on. Definitely keep talking to your doctor about any changes, no matter how small they seem.
I just started Empliciti and I'm definitely feeling the fatigue. Plus, I've had some weird dreams. Anybody else?
I've been on Empliciti for about a year now, and I can definitely relate to the mood changes. It's been a bit of a roller coaster, but I've found that talking to a therapist has helped a lot. Also, staying hydrated and eating small, frequent meals has helped with the fatigue and appetite issues. Stay strong!
