I've been using the Emsam 9mg/24hr Patch for a few months now, and I've noticed some significant changes in my mood. The patch is convenient, and I appreciate that it reduces some side effects compared to oral antidepressants. However, I've experienced some strange side effects like dizziness and a runny nose. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Are there any tips for managing these side effects?

The Emsam patch has been a game-changer for me. I haven't had any serious side effects, and my depression symptoms have improved significantly.

I'm not convinced it works any better than the oral form, but the side effects were more bearable. And my doctor says that makes it worth it

I started experiencing blurred vision and a sudden headache after using the patch. I immediately called my doctor, and they advised me to stop using it. Better safe than sorry!

I had a friend who used it and felt like a zombie! She said it was hard to wake up and stay awake. So I'll be sticking with my pills, thanks. Also, what a weird drug name!

I think the key is to stay hydrated, and to be patient with the medication. It may take a few weeks to adjust, but my mood has definitely improved.

I'm considering switching to the Emsam patch from my current antidepressants. Has anyone had any trouble with sudden sleepiness or hallucinations, which are among the more serious side effects?

I've been on Emsam for a year, and I totally agree about the convenience. But I also had some issues with dizziness. I switched to a different patch and had fewer problems.

Honestly, I'm not sure if the Emsam patch is worth it. I had terrible skin irritation at the site of application, and it made me really uncomfortable!
