I've recently started taking Enalapril 1mg/ml Oral Soln for high blood pressure, and I've had some mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it's been great for lowering my blood pressure, but on the other hand, I've experienced some mild side effects like dizziness and a persistent cough. I've also heard stories from others about more serious side effects. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I'd love to hear about your experiences and any tips for managing side effects, and what to do if they get worse. I've been worried about some of the more serious side effects, like kidney problems or high potassium levels. I want to be prepared in case any of those symptoms show up.

I had a persistent cough for a few months after starting Enalapril. My doctor switched me to Lisinopril, and the cough went away. No regrets about the switch, but it's been a stable ride since.

For anyone worried about side effects, make sure to talk to your doctor. They can monitor your potassium levels and kidney function to make sure everything is okay. Just keep up on those checkups!

Dizziness and cough are common, but it's those more serious side effects that scare me. The liver problems especially — I had a family member go through that, and it was rough.

I've been on Enalapril for a few years now, and it's been a lifesaver for my high blood pressure. I didn't experience any side effects at first, but after a while, I started getting a persistent cough. It was annoying, but my doctor assured me it was a common side effect. I switched to another ACE inhibitor, and the cough went away. In retrospect, I guess it was worth the trade-off to switch, but glad I was able to get to the other side of things.

Be careful with Enalapril and potassium — it can cause high potassium levels, so you gotta watch your diet. No bananas or potatoes for me!

I started taking Enalapril and within a few days, I had a rash and felt dizzy. I immediately called my doctor and they told me to stop taking it right away. Turns out I was having an allergic reaction. It was scary, but I'm glad I caught it early. Always trust your instincts if something feels off.

Has anyone tried switching to a different ACE inhibitor after experiencing side effects with Enalapril? I'm curious if it's worth trying another medication.

This persistent cough is hell. I asked my doctor about it, and they said it was just one of those things. But I'm not sure I can take it anymore. I'll probably switch to something else.

Enalapril has been great for me. No side effects at all, and it's really helped with my blood pressure. But I know everyone is different, so it's great to hear others' experiences.

I've heard that some people experience severe dizziness or fainting with Enalapril. I'm worried about this side effect, especially since I drive a lot for work.
