I've been on Aygestin 5mg for about six months now to manage my endometriosis, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. The doctor said it would help with my symptoms, but the side effects list is a bit scary. Has anyone else experienced severe side effects like allergic reactions or liver problems? I've had some mild headaches and bloating for the first month or so, but it's getting better now. Also, does anyone know if these symptoms will clear up or stay for a while? How long was it for you? Any tips to make it easier would also be appreciated. Also how does this compare to other treatments? Does anyone have experience with another treatment they'd recommend? I was also curious if this has affected anyone's weight and if so, what to do about it. Hopefully you can share some advice.

I think everyone's experience is different. I've had some mood swings, but nothing too bad. I started taking it recently, so I hope it gets better with time but we'll see. I would rather have this and have to deal with it, than deal with the other treatments. If you start feeling really down, it could be the meds. If you start feeling really bad, immediately tell your doctor. Please investigate this with your doctor

I've gained some weight, but it's not too bad. I just make sure to eat healthy and exercise regularly. It's hard to do this, but I have to if I want to stay fit. This is how I think about it, but everyone has to do what's best for them.

If you're considering Aygestin, just be aware of the potential side effects and keep an eye out for any changes in your body. If you notice anything, don't hesitate to talk to your doctor. Really, I can't stress this enough. Your health is more important than your period. I think you should be aware of the risks and benefits and make an informed decision.

I've been on Aygestin for about a year now. The first few months were tough with headaches and bloating, but it's much better now. I wish a doctor had told me this would happen,

I had to stop taking Aygestin because of severe depression. It was really tough. If you start feeling really down, please talk to your doctor about it. I wish I had known what to look for.

Aygestin has been a game-changer for my endometriosis. I still have some cramps, but they're much more manageable than before. I'm on the highest dose, though, which can get expensive. You might have to weigh the effectiveness with the cost. If it works, it works! Is there anything anyone knows about getting financial assistance? I have to pay for medical costs out of pocket, and this is really hard for me.

I wish I had known about the blood clot risks sooner. I started getting pains in my leg, and it turned out to be a blood clot. I had it removed immediately, but I was scared. I wish someone had told me to look out for this before it happened

I switched to Aygestin from another treatment. I had an allergic reaction with the other one, but I haven't had any issues with Aygestin so far. I know everyone is different, but I had major issues with the other treatments. This one might be easier on my body, because I feel fine at the moment.
