This is my first week on Jadenu Sprinkle for iron overload due to blood transfusions, and I'm terrified. I've always had serious side effects from medications. I'm experiencing severe stomach pain and vomiting, and it feels like it is getting worse. Is this normal? I'm scared about what this might do to my other organs like my kidneys and liver. I’ve read about the potential side effects, but I never expected them to be this bad. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or if I should seek emergency medical attention immediately. I can’t handle the constant feeling of being so ill and afraid.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this. It's crucial to contact your doctor immediately if you're experiencing severe stomach pain and vomiting. These are serious side effects and can indicate a severe reaction. If you can’t reach your doctor, go to the emergency room right away. Best of luck, you don’t sound well.
I had a similar issue, but it turned out to be an allergic reaction. I had to switch to a different medication. It might not be the Jadenu itself. Just want to let you know that there are other options if this doesn't get any better.
This sounds really serious. I’ve never heard of someone having such severe side effects right away. Seek medical help immediately. Please update us on how you're doing!
If you're too nervous to call your doctor, I'd suggest leaving the house and going to an emergency room. That’s what they’re there for, and they’ll know what to do.
Not trying to scare you, but those side effects do sound really serious. Definitely listen to your body and get checked out if something doesn’t feel right.
Have you considered trying an over-the-counter antiemetic for the vomiting? It might help manage the symptoms a bit while you wait to hear back from your doctor. Just make sure it doesn’t interact with Jadenu.
