Epinastine 0.05% Ophthalmic Solution is becoming popular among allergy sufferers for its ability to relieve itchy eyes. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and while it works well, I've encountered a few side effects. Has anyone else experienced burning sensations or excessive tearing? How do you manage these side effects? I'm also curious about the long-term use of this medication. Are there any potential risks I should be aware of? Looking forward to hearing other people's experiences and tips.

Avoid using with contact lenses, that's a big no-no. The preservatives in the eye drops can build up on the lenses and cause irritation. Anyone else have trouble switching between drops and contacts?

I've been using Epinastine for a year now, and it's been a lifesaver. It really helps with my seasonal allergies, but I did notice some excessive tearing at first. My doctor recommended using it consistently and not missing doses, which helped a lot. The burning sensation went away after a couple of weeks.

I've never had any issues with Epinastine, but I did switch to a different brand and experienced minor stinging. I switched back and everything was fine. Maybe it was just a manufacturing issue, but it's worth noting.

Does anyone know if Epinastine can be used by children? My kid is constantly rubbing his eyes during allergy season, and I'm wondering if this would help. What’s the recommended age for use?

Make sure to store your Epinastine properly! I accidentally left it in the car on a hot day, and it didn't work as well afterward. Keep it cool and out of direct sunlight.

I switched to Epinastine from another antihistamine eye drop and noticed a significant difference. My eyes feel much less irritated, and the itching is finally under control. I did experience some mild burning, but it was manageable.
