I've been taking Erlotinib 25mg Tablets for a few months now to treat my lung cancer, and while I'm grateful for the treatment, I'm also dealing with some challenging side effects. I've experienced fatigue, diarrhea, and some skin irritation, but I'm more concerned about the potential for severe side effects like liver or kidney problems. I've read about some scary symptoms, and I'm trying to stay vigilant. Has anyone else had experiences with these side effects, or am I just being overly cautious? I'd love to hear from others who might have gone through similar experiences and how they coped. Also, any tips on managing the fatigue and diarrhea would be greatly appreciated. I want to make sure I'm taking care of myself as best as I can while on this treatment.

I had the same issues with fatigue and diarrhea. I found that eating smaller, more frequent meals helped with the nausea. It’s a tough road, but you’re not alone.

The vomiting was the worst part for me. I started taking anti-nausea meds and it helped a ton. Just make sure to mention everything to your doctor—don’t try to tough it out alone.

I've had a few friends on this drug. The liver problems are scary, so regular checkups and blood tests are crucial. It's also good to avoid certain foods while on this med, like grapefruit.

I was on Erlotinib for a while and the fatigue was brutal. I found that staying hydrated and taking naps throughout the day helped a little. Also, talk to your doctor about anti-diarrheal meds if it's really getting to you.

I think the severity of the side effects can vary widely from person to person. It’s important to keep a close eye on any new symptoms and talk to your oncologist regularly. For the fatigue, I found that light exercise, like walking, actually helped more than just resting.

Yea, the side effects are tough. But remember, it's all about managing them so you can keep fighting. I had some skin irritation, but my doctor gave me a cream for it. It was annoying but manageable.

I heard that some people experience hair loss too. It’s a bummer, but it’s a small price to pay if the drug is working. Hang in there!
