I've been prescribed Eryped 400mg/5ml Susp 100ml for a respiratory tract infection, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects. Has anyone else taken this antibiotic? I need to know what to expect and how to manage any potential side effects effectively. I've read about the urgent side effects like allergic reactions and liver problems, but I’m also curious about the more common ones. How should I handle things if I experience diarrhea or stomach pain? Any advice on finishing the entire course of treatment without feeling overwhelmed? Let's share our experiences and tips!

Always good to finish the course of antibiotics. Dont stop because you feel better. I've seen what happens when people don't finish the course!

I had a bit of a scare with itchy skin, but turns out it was just an allergic reaction. My doctor switched me to a different antibiotic right away. Always good to be cautious with these things.

You should stop taking the medicine if you notice any signs of an allergic reaction. It’s better to be safe than sorry. I remember a friend who had a bad reaction and ended up in the hospital. Scary stuff.

I've taken Eryped before for a skin infection. The most noticeable side effect for me was stomach pain, but it was manageable. I took it with food and it helped a lot. Just make sure to finish the entire course even if you feel better!

I'm glad I found this thread. I just got my prescription. I'll make sure to check for the signs of liver problems. I had jaundice as a kid and I don’t want to go through something like that again. Well, I remember it as being scary, at least.

Hydrogen Peroxide below the tongue? I've been using it on a daily basis and I feel much better since. I'm curious to see what others think about it.

I've heard the long QT syndrome is a big deal. My dad had it, and it's not fun. If you have an irregular heartbeat, don’t mess around; get to the ER immediately.
