Erythromycin 200mg/5ml suspension 100ml has helped me get through a nasty infection. I'm allergic to penicillin, so this was my go-to antibiotic. While some of the side effects can be scary, I've never experienced any of the urgent ones. Mostly just some stomach upset, but that's manageable. Just got some tips about liver damage from someone and I'm wondering if that's common. I'd love to hear others' experiences with this antibiotic.

Ha! My kid hated the taste of this stuff. It was like trying to get him to drink chalk! Just mix it with something sweet, though, and he's fine.

Does anyone know if Erythromycin interacts with other meds? I'm on a few things for my blood pressure and asthma and I'm worried it will mess with them. If you don't know, ask your doctor.

Diarrhea is no joke, especially when you're already feeling crappy. I had to deal with that, but after some time, it went away. I don't know if anyone else here experienced odd sensations. But in my case, it was just a very light skin rash. So not much to worry about.

I hope you're feeling better! I've read about liver problems, but my doctor said they're rare. I wouldn't worry too much; just keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms and contact your doctor if you notice anything. Erythromycin is a powerful antibiotic used for a variety of conditions. It's crucial to complete the entire course even if you start feeling better. Incomplete courses can lead to antibiotic resistance, making future infections harder to treat.

I've been on Erythromycin a few times and didn't have any major issues. Just some mild nausea and a bit of diarrhea. Just make sure to stay hydrated when you experience diarrhea or stomach problems.

I've never had a severe reaction, but I know someone who did. It was scary, but luckily they got to the hospital in time. I'd rather deal with stomach problems than put my life at risk.

I’ve been prescribed Erythromycin a few times and I've just taken it as directed. Just finish the course of antibiotics, even if you feel better. Incomplete courses can lead to antibiotic resistance, making future infections harder to treat and usually, it leaves you dealing with worse side effects and it's really a pain. Just listen to your doctor, they know what they're doing.
