I was so nervous about the urgent side effects, but thankfully I haven't had any major issues. Just stay vigilant and know the signs. The common ones were manageable for me.
That's good to know, let's hope for the best. I'm worried about weight loss since that is a side effect listed. Tips on how to manage that would be great.
Can anyone who experienced liver problems share how they were treated? I'd like to be prepared just in case.
My mother was put on this medication 4 months ago, and while she’s managed her side effects well, she’s losing weight rapidly. Her doctor has suggested protein shakes and frequent snacks to help stabilize it. Hopefully, it will help.
My advice? Stay positive and keep your spirits high and you can fight IPF. And also give yourself a break from exercise if Esbriet makes you too tired.
