I've just been prescribed Eslicarbazepine Acetate 200mg Tabs for my epilepsy. It's supposed to calm the overactive nerves in the brain that cause seizures, and I'm taking it once a day. I was just reading about the side effects and it's a bit scary—especially the ones for signs of low sodium levels and severe skin reactions. Has anyone else been on this medication? How have your experiences been? I’m worried about all the urgent side effects to watch out for. If you've had any good or bad experiences, I'd love to hear about them. It would help to know what to expect.

The worst part about Eslicarbazepine Acetate is the upset stomach. I've tried everything to deal with it, but nothing seems to work. anyone else have any tips to help me out

Be cautious and monitor your sodium levels. I’ve seen someone who had a really bad reaction with Eslicarbazepine Acetate. It’s scary stuff, but if you’re careful and keep an eye on things, you should be fine.

I can't believe the side effects listed. 2020 and we still don't have better epilepsy medications

I’ve heard that taking this medication can cause some serious issues with your sodium levels. I know someone who had to stop taking it because of that.

I've been on this medication for a while and the only side effect I've had is some dizziness. Other than that, it's been great for controlling my seizures. I take it every morning with breakfast and it's been a lifesaver.
