Esomeprazole Mag 20mg DR Caps (OTC): Your Experience and Side Effects?

I started taking this after a bout of severe heartburn and I had to switch back to omeprazole to avoid those weird kidney issues. Just wanted to put it out there in case others are thinking about switching or if no one's mentioned that somewhere before

I had severe diarrhea and stomach cramps. I stopped taking it right away and felt better within a few days. Just be cautious and listen to your body.

I had a terrible skin rash after taking this for a few days. It was really scary, and I had to stop taking it immediately. I ended up switching to a different medication and my doctor said I should report the side effect to the FDA as well. Be careful out there everyone!
