I've been prescribed Esomeprazole Pwdr 10mg DR For Susp for my acid reflux. It's been a few weeks, and I'm starting to feel better, but I have some questions and concerns. Has anyone else experienced significant side effects? My doctor mentioned rare but serious ones, like severe skin reactions or kidney problems. I'm also curious about long-term use. How does it affect your body over time? I've read conflicting information online and would love some personal experiences! Also, what's the deal with the increased risk of C. diff-associated diarrhea? Should I be worried about that?

I had a horrible allergic reaction to Esomeprazole. The doctor had to switch me to something else, so be on the lookout for any signs like hives or trouble breathing and seek medical attention ASAP.

Honestly, I'd rather have a bit of acid reflux than be on this stuff for the rest of my life. I'm not sure what the deal is with PPIs, but I've been talking to my doctor about alternative treatments.

Be careful with long-term PPI use. I read that it can lead to vitamin deficiencies. Make sure you're getting enough vitamin B12 and magnesium.

I've had really bad constipation and headaches from Esomeprazole. It's not as bad as the heartburn, but it's still frustrating. I've been told it's due to the slower digestion process. What should I do?

Just sharing that my doctor recommended taking it with food to help reduce some of the side effects. It might help with the upset stomach or diarrhea.

Esomeprazole really helped reduce my symptoms. Patients are recommended to take it for 4-8 weeks, but I had to take it longer because my symptoms were severe. I felt the best after two months. I did experience some headaches, but they were manageable.

I've had this drug before and it was fantastic. It cleared up my issues in no time. I'm all for it..

I had a friend who got C. diff from being on PPIs. It's terrifying. Make sure you're really careful and listen to your doctor.
