I've been recently diagnosed with hemophilia A and my doctor has prescribed Esperoct 4000iu Inj, 1 Vial. I've heard a lot about how effective it is, especially with the pegylated Factor VIII, but I'm curious to know if anyone out there has any real-world experience with this medication. How often are you using it for injections? Have you experienced any side effects? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I would like to know more about the chest pain side effect. I've had issues with that but don't know if it's the Esperoct. Any thoughts?

Have you already been using treatments for a long time? You might need to ease into using this treatment. If you go from nothing to Esperoct, you might get a lot of side effects.

I have an injection site irritation, but that is about it. Still, I would not trade the prevention for anything!

I've heard the pegylated version can sometimes cause allergic reactions. Has anyone else had issues like this? I'm thinking about switching to this medication but the side effects have me concerned.

This is the most effective treatment I've been prescribed, and I've tried a few. The pegylated version keeps the factor VIII in my body for a long time. Just remember to monitor your body for any signs to report right away.

I've been on Esperoct for over a year now. In the beginning, I was scared about the side effects, but honestly, it's been a lot better than I expected. I've had some irritation at the injection site, but nothing too bad. I take it once a week and it's been working really well for me. I hope it works for you too!
