I think password managers are underrated. Having a strong, unique password for every account is essential, and a password manager makes it easy to keep track of them all. I use LastPass, and it's been a lifesaver.

I can't stress enough the importance of a VPN. I recently had a scare when I realized my home Wi-Fi wasn't as secure as I thought. Ever since, I've been using a VPN and it's made all the difference. Plus, companies like NordVPN and Surfshark have great deals for remote workers!

I had an incident when a hacker got access to my company emails. I thought I had been careful, but it turned out I didn’t have two-factor authentication on. Lesson learned: Always enable it!

Two-factor authentication is a game-changer. I had a friend whose account got hacked because he didn't have it enabled. Now, I make sure to enable it on all my accounts. It's a small step that makes a huge difference.

I've always wondered if maintaining a separate work device helps with security. Has anyone else done this, and if so, how has it impacted your work?

Just be aware of shoulder surfers, too. If you're in a public place, be mindful of who might be looking at your screen. I've seen people get hacked in coffee shops this way.

I don't understand why more companies don't invest in cybersecurity training for their remote employees. It should be a no-brainer. How hard is it to set up a training session?

I had a scare when I thought my laptop had been compromised. Turns out, it was just a weird update. It reminded me how important it is to have antivirus and malware protection. Especially if you are using windows.
