I've been using Estring 7.5mcg/24hr Vaginal System for a few months now to treat my vaginal dryness and itching caused by menopause. Initially, I was a bit hesitant because I've never used a vaginal ring before, but my doctor assured me it would be effective and easy to use. The ring is soft and flexible, and it's been a comfortable experience overall. However, I've noticed some side effects like headaches and bloating, which I wasn't prepared for. I did not want to go through hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in the first place, so I've been trying to manage these symptoms with over-the-counter remedies. I've also had a bit of pelvic discomfort, but it hasn't been severe. I contacted my doctor right away to ensure it was not any serious side effects. It has definitely helped with the dryness, though, so I'm considering sticking with it for the time being. Has anyone else tried Estring and had similar experiences? Were your side effects worth the benefits? I would love to hear your thoughts.

I started using Estring but had to stop because of severe abdominal pain. Turns out I was having mild bouts of pancreatitis, which was terrifying. I had to seek urgent medical attention. It took some time for me to recover. I don't think the side effects were worth the benefits and will be looking for different treatments.

I'm so glad I found this thread. I've been considering Estring, but hearing about your experiences makes me a bit nervous. I have a history of gallbladder issues, so I'm worried about the potential for worse problems.

I've been using Estring for a while now and haven't experienced any serious side effects. It took some time to get used to the idea of inserting the ring, but it's been worth it. I did have some initial discomfort, but it went away after a few days. I've had minor headaches and some bloating, but overall, it's been a positive experience. I've noticed a significant improvement in my symptoms, and I'm happy with the results.

I had no idea Estring could cause such a wide range of side effects. Is it normal to experience things like high blood pressure or liver problems? I'm not sure if I want to risk it at this point. I thought hormone therapy was supposed to be safer than other treatments. This is still something I plan to discuss with my doctor, but it's definitely concerning.

I wish I'd known about the potential side effects before starting Estring. I was really hopeful that it would help with my menopause symptoms, but I wasn't prepared for the headaches and upset stomach. But I weighed the side effects against the benefits of the treatment and decided that it was worth it. I haven't had any severe issues, and my symptoms have improved significantly.

Has anyone else experienced breast tenderness or changes in their menstrual cycle while using Estring? I've been dealing with these symptoms for a few weeks now, and I'm not sure if it's related to the medication or something else. It's definitely been a frustrating experience, and I'm not sure what to do next.
