I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and prescribed Euthyrox 0.075mg (75mcg) Tablets. I've been taking them for a few weeks now, and while I'm feeling some improvement in my energy levels, I'm also experiencing some side effects that I'm not sure are related to the medication. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'd love to hear about your journey with Levothyroxine and any tips you might have for managing side effects. Also, does anyone know if hair loss is a common side effect and if it usually resolves on its own? Thanks in advance for your insights!

Honestly, Euthyrox is a lifesaver. I was so lethargic and foggy before starting it. But yeah, the side effects can be rough. Just give it time and work closely with your doctor. Patience is the key with this medicine. And if you're going through hair loss, talk to your doctor. They’ll figure out what to do.

I've been on Euthyrox for a few years now, and hair loss was definitely an issue for me in the beginning. It started falling out in chunks, and it was terrifying. But my doctor assured me it was a temporary side effect, and she was right. It took about six months, but my hair eventually grew back and is thicker than ever.

I wish I could say mine was smooth, but I felt jittery the first couple weeks. I initially had problems with it, but now I'm feeling a lot better. Just keep an eye on symptoms and consult your doctor if anything feels off. It's a must.

Yep, hair loss is common. Just something to be aware of. And listen, if you're feeling anxious or irritable, it could be from the medication. But it could also be from the thyroid imbalance. Definitely worth discussing with your doctor.

I’ve noticed a lot of people here have side effects, which is to be expected with any medication. But Levothyroxine is generally well-tolerated. Don't stress too much over minor issues; focus on how much better you’re feeling overall.

This kind of stuff really varies from person to person. I started Euthyrox and barely had any symptoms, but my friend took it and felt awful for months. Just keep monitoring how you feel and talk to your doctor about any major issues. Don't try to tough it out if something seems serious.

Just a heads up, some people have weird interactions with food or coffee. If you notice any issues, try taking the tablet on an empty stomach or switching the time of day you take it. But definitely talk to your doc first.

Don’t forget to carry a list of your meds with you. If you get hospitalized or something, it’s good to have. It’s just a quick reminder, but it could really help!

Seriously, Euthyrox gave me insomnia for weeks. It was brutal. I ended up taking it in the morning instead of at night, and that seemed to help a bit. Also, make sure your thyroid is checked at least once a year. My levels fluctuated a lot and my dosage changed multiple times. Stay in touch with your doctor.

This might be obvious, but check your labels. There are different brands out there, and sometimes the conversion in milligrams between brands can be different. Double-check to make sure you're taking the right dose.
