I was prescribed Evista 60mg Tablets (Raloxifene) to help with my osteoporosis and reduce my risk of breast cancer. It's been a few months since I started taking it, and I've had some ups and downs. At first, I was nervous about the possible side effects, especially the more serious ones. But after doing some research and talking to my doctor, I felt more at ease. The most troubling side effects are those related to allergic reactions, neurological symptoms, and blood clots, which are rare but serious. It's important to stay vigilant and seek medical attention if any of these symptoms appear. Luckily, I haven't experienced any of these. I've had some mild side effects like hot flashes and leg cramps, which are manageable. It's reassuring to know that these side effects are not uncommon and can be discussed with your healthcare provider. I'm glad I have this option to help keep my bones strong and reduce my risk of breast cancer. Has anyone else had experience with Evista? What has your journey been like?

Evista has been a game-changer for me. I was initially worried about the potential side effects, especially the blood clots, but I haven't had any issues. It's been a relief to see my bone density improving and know I'm reducing my risk of breast cancer. The hot flashes are tough, but they're manageable with some lifestyle changes. I think the benefits far outweigh the side effects for me.

Sounds like you're handling it well. I'm on Evista too, and the hot flashes are no joke. I've had to adjust my routine to manage them. The positive side is that my bone density scans have shown improvement.

Hang in there! I had the flu-like symptoms for about a week or so after I started. After that, it got much better. It's definitely worth talking to your doctor if it gets too bad. They might be able to adjust your dosage or recommend something to help with the symptoms.

I've been on Evista for a while and had some leg cramps and joint pain, but nothing too severe. I had to take some time to get used to the hot flashes, but now I have a routine that helps me manage them. I'm happy with the results so far, and it's great knowing I'm doing something to keep my bones strong and reduce the risk of breast cancer. I mean, it's not like anyone wants breast cancer, right? 🤮

Just started Evista and I'm struggling with the flu-like symptoms. It's awful and I’m wondering if it's worth it. Did anyone else go through this, and if so, how long did it take to pass?
