Has anyone been using Evkeeza injections for Homozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia? I've been given a prescription after struggling with extremely high cholesterol levels. I'd love to know your experiences, side effects, and if it helped. The potential allergic reactions are worrying! Is it really worth the risk? The information about Evkeeza is scarce online, so I hope some of you can share your insights!

Evkeeza is a lifesaver! But the side effects are tough to deal with. My partner has been giving me infusions every four weeks. I've had to take time off work a couple of times for the side effects, but it's worth it in the end.

I've heard horror stories about the severe dizziness and fainting. Be prepared for the worst, hope for the best. Make sure you have someone with you during the infusions. Every little thing counts.

Evkeeza is not a cure-all. It's a lifeline for those with HoFH, it's true. But managing side effects can be tough. Stay in close contact with your healthcare provider. The flu-like symptoms can be debilitating, but they usually pass quickly.

I'm on week six. Pain in the arms or legs is no joke, but the rest of the side effects have been bearable. Fingers crossed it keeps working. Been able to eat my favorite foods again, and cholesterol is going down! It's a great trade-off.

I've been on Evkeeza for 6 months now, and it's been a game-changer. My LDL-C levels have dropped significantly, and I haven't experienced any major side effects. Just some mild dizziness and a runny nose occasionally. But make sure you're monitored closely, especially at the beginning.
