I've been struggling with acne for years and have tried countless creams, lotions, and pills. Recently, my dermatologist prescribed Evoclin 1% Aerosol Foam. It's been a few weeks, and I've noticed some improvement, but I'm also experiencing some minor irritation and dryness and am not sure if I should be concerned. I'm wondering if anyone else has used this and what their experience has been—especially with potential side effects. I've seen others mention that it's harsh or drying. Is my skin just adjusting, or should I be concerned about these symptoms?

I've been using Evoclin for about a month now, and I've had some success with it. My acne has improved, but I also had some initial dryness and irritation. I started using a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer after applying the foam, and that helped a lot. Stick with it and give your skin some time to adjust. Hopefully, it'll be smoother sailing as your skin gets used to the medication.

Be careful with Evoclin—it can cause some serious side effects. I had a friend who ended up with a severe allergic reaction. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, like hives or trouble breathing, seek medical attention immediately. It's not worth risking your health for clearer skin.

Evoclin has been a lifesaver for me. I had tried everything under the sun for my acne, and nothing worked. I was about to give up hope, but Evoclin finally did the trick. Yes, it's drying, but it's worth it for the clear skin. Just make sure to moisturize and be consistent with your application.

I've been applying a thin layer of the medication. I've noticed that it will definitely dry out my skin, so I apply a moisturizer to the dry areas around the acne after applying the foam. It's helped tremendously, and my acne has improved. With acne, it's all about consistency, so do not be discouraged if you don't see results right away.

I'm on my third week of using Evoclin, and I'm already seeing clear results, but I have a question: Can I use it with other acne treatments? I have some benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid products that I've been using for years.

I had a horrible experience with Evoclin. I developed C. diff-associated diarrhea, and it was terrifying. I had to go to the hospital, and it was a mess. Now, I avoid antibiotics unless absolutely necessary. It's just not worth the risk for me.

I didn't have any luck with Evoclin. I used it for about two months, and it didn't do anything for my acne. Plus, it made my skin so dry and irritated. I ended up switching to another prescription, and it worked much better for me. Definitely talk to your dermatologist if you're not seeing results and experiencing irritation.

Every time I use a new skincare product, I get so nervous! But Evoclin has been great so far. Just a heads-up—it can leave a slight white cast on the skin. Nothing a bit of makeup can't cover, though! Just be careful washing your hands afterward.
