Exelderm 1% Cream is a topical antifungal medication used to treat a variety of skin infections like athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and tinea versicolor. It contains sulconazole, which works by halting the growth of the fungus causing the infection. Typically, it is applied to the affected area once or twice a day for several weeks. However, it is essential to be aware of the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones that require immediate medical attention. I've been using it for a few days, and I'm a little concerned. Some of the urgent side effects listed include signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, hives, itching, swelling, and trouble breathing. If you experience any of these, you should seek medical help right away. Has anyone else had issues with it? It is important to report any unusual side effects to the FDA. The less urgent side effects can still be quite uncomfortable, so always consult your doctor if you experience anything worrisome.

I got this for a fungal infection on my scalp. I was a bit worried about using it on my head, but my doctor said it was fine. It worked alright, but it did sting a bit when I applied it, so I'll be more careful next time. I will try and remember to apply it during the day over a period of at least 2 weeks

I've been using Exelderm for a few days now. I am waiting for the results. I guess it’s too early to say if it’s effective, but so far, I haven’t had any side effects. It does have a bit of a strong smell, but I can deal with that if it gets rid of this infection.

I have used Exelderm 1% Cream for jock itch and it worked like a charm. No side effects for me but I did finish the full course as prescribed. My doctor also suggested I use it for a few weeks after the infection cleared up to prevent it from coming back. Just be cautious and read the side effects! It might be worth it for you to talk to your doctor about it and see what they recommend.

I have a question: does anyone know how this compares to other antifungal creams like terbinafine or clotrimazole? I've used both of them and wonder if Exelderm 1% Cream is more or less effective.

I've used this for athlete's foot before. It worked but I had a really bad reaction to it. I felt like I couldn’t breathe. My throat started closing up so I had to go to the ER. Stay safe folks, be careful with this stuff.

I think it's important to remember that everyone's experience with medication can be different. I've had no issues with Exelderm 1% Cream, but I know people who've had really bad reactions. Do your research and talk to your doctor before trying any new medication. And report any adverse reactions to the FDA as instructed.

I had a bit of a reaction to this cream, but nothing serious. Just some redness and itching at the application site. My doctor said it was normal and to keep using it. It seems to be working though, my ringworm is clearing up.

I had to stop using this because it made my skin so itchy. I couldn't take it anymore, but I'm not sure what the alternative is for treating ringworm. :/
