Experiences with Testosterone 1.62%(40.5mg/2.5gm)pkt gel? I'm considering it for low testosterone.
I've been recently diagnosed with hypogonadism and my doctor recommended Testosterone 1.62%(40.5mg/2.5gm)pkt gel. I'm looking to understand how it has helped or affected others. I'm aware of the possible side effects, but I'm curious to hear about real-life experiences. Anyone have any insights or tips? I'm particularly interested in hearing about the application process, effectiveness, and any side effects you may have experienced.

I've been using this for years now and it's been great. Just make sure to use gloves when applying it, so you don't accidentally transfer the gel to sensitive areas like your eyes or mouth. The gel can cause irritation if it comes into contact with mucous membranes.
I've had some behavioural changes I’m not entirely comfortable with. I started feeling irritable and it took a bit of adjusting to the medication. I'm not sure if it's a side effect or just my body adjusting, but I have been keeping an eye on it.
I switched to this gel from injections and it's been a game-changer. No more painful injections and my testosterone levels have been stable. Just be careful with the application area. If you have kids or a partner, make sure they don't come into contact with the gel.
Be prepared for some mood swings at first. It took my body a few weeks to adjust to the new hormone levels. And yes, irritation at the application site is common, so make sure to rotate where you apply it.
How long did it take to see results? I'm on week 3 and feeling a bit impatient.
I noticed a significant increase in my sex drive and muscle strength within a month. But I also had some issues with urination, which my doctor said could be related to an enlarged prostate. It was resolved with medication so don't panic if you notice this side effect. Just be on the lookout for any concerning changes.
Does anyone else feel like their skin feels a bit smoother and thicker? Like you get the added bonus of a skincare product? I swear my wrinkles are less prominent.
I thought I was having a heart attack when I experienced chest pain and shortness of breath. Turns out it was just a side effect of the gel. Scared the hell out of me, but my doctor said it was rare and to keep an eye out for any other symptoms.
