I've been struggling with seborrheic dermatitis for a while now, and my dermatologist recently prescribed Extina 2% Foam 50gm. I've used it for a couple of weeks and noticed some improvements, but I'm also experiencing a bit of irritation at the application site. Has anyone else had this issue? What should I do? Additionally, I'm curious about the long-term effects and any tips for managing this condition. I'm also worried about the potential side effects, especially the allergic reactions mentioned. Has anyone experienced any of these? How did you handle it? I'd love to hear from others who have used this medication and their experiences. Thanks!

I'm glad to hear that so many people find Extina helpful. I struggled with a lot of irritation, which made me reluctant to continue using it. I might give it another try if I can find some tips on applying it more carefully.

Extina 2% Foam 50gm saved my life! I've been dealing with seborrheic dermatitis for years and this stuff is the only thing that has worked for me. I use it a couple of times a week and I haven't had any issues with it. I don't even experience the burning sensation that people talked about. Highly recommend

I found this medication to be very effective, but I can see how it might cause irritation. Sometimes applying it to the skin can be rough, but I found that using a light touch and avoiding the area right after a shower helped a lot. I also recommend gently washing the area before application and patting dry. This helped me not feel as irritated, though it may be a bit uncomfortable.

I've also had some irritation, but it's not bad enough to stop using it. Most of the time I just wait it out and it goes away. I tend to apply it in the evening, so I can sleep without getting the foam on anything, and then wash off the residue in the morning.
