I've been prescribed Fenofibrate 134mg capsules to manage my high triglyceride and cholesterol levels. I've heard a lot about the possible side effects but I’m not sure what to expect. Has anyone else had good or bad experiences with this medication? Any advice on managing side effects? Or any tips to minimize the risk? I want to make sure I am making the best decision for my health and I’m curious about others’ experiences.

I've been on Fenofibrate for a few months now, and I have to say it's been a bit of a rollercoaster. Initially, I experienced some stomach pain, but it subsided after a couple of weeks. The biggest adjustment was diet, but I'm sticking to it because the medication is helping my lipid levels improve.

For those experiencing severe pain, have you considered speaking to a specialist? Sometimes the solution is just another prescription or a change of dosage. It is worth a shot to make you more comfortable.

If anyone is experiencing the signs of pancreatitis, trust me when I say that you need to get yourself to the hospital IMMEDIATELY. It took me a while to get help and I regretted it.

My doctor prescribed Fenofibrate along with a strict low-fat diet and regular exercise. I've seen significant improvement in my triglyceride levels, but I've also had some muscle pain. I'm managing it with light stretches and over-the-counter pain-relievers but this doesn't seem to be going away.

I've heard that Fenofibrate can cause liver problems. How do I know if my liver is at risk? Are there any symptoms I should be looking out for?

I didn't know about the blood clots! That's scary stuff. I'm glad I'm taking Fenofibrate but I wish I had been told about this risk. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on any swelling or unusual pain.

Did anyone else have to stop taking Fenofibrate because of severe skin reactions? I had a friend whose skin became all blistered and they were in the hospital. That was the worst.

I had a severe allergic reaction to Fenofibrate. I developed a rash and had trouble breathing. I ended up in the ER and it was terrifying. If you start to experience any of the serious side effects, please go to the hospital right away. This medication isn’t worth risking your life.

I have been taking Fenofibrate for a couple of months, and the only side effect I have noticed is a mild headache. I’m not sure if it’s the medication or just stress. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've been on this medication for a while and I've had some mild headaches and back pain. My doctor said these are common and to keep track of them. So far, so good. I just hope the benefits keep outweighing the cons.
