Ferrous Sulfate 324mg EC Tabs Red: My Experience with Iron Deficiency Anemia and Side Effects
I've been taking Ferrous Sulfate 324mg EC Tabs Red for the past few months to treat my iron deficiency anemia. Overall, I've noticed an improvement in my energy levels and overall health, but I've also experienced some side effects. I've read the list of possible side effects, but I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences or if there are any tips for managing these side effects. I've been dealing with constipation and an upset stomach, which can be quite uncomfortable. Are there any natural remedies or dietary changes that might help alleviate these issues? Also, I've noticed that my stools have turned green, which is a bit unnerving. Is this a common side effect, and should I be worried? Any insights or advice from others who have taken this medication would be greatly appreciated. Let's share our experiences and support each other!

I switched to a different iron supplement because of the side effects. Just make sure to talk to your doctor before making any changes.
I’ve been taking them for a year now and haven’t had any major issues. Just stick to the dosage and take them with food, and you should be fine.
I just started taking these and my stool turned green too. My doctor said it's normal due to the iron, but it was still a bit surprising. Hang in there!
I’m on my third month and have noticed a huge improvement in my energy levels. No major side effects so far. Just keep track of how your body reacts and consult your doctor if you feel off.
I've been taking Ferrous Sulfate for a while and haven't had any major side effects. Just occasional nausea, but it's not too bad. Make sure to take it with food and stay hydrated. Good luck to everyone!
I found that taking the tablets with food helped reduce the stomach upset. Also, avoiding dairy products around the time I took the pills made a big difference.
I had a really bad reaction to these tablets. Black, tarry stools and vomiting blood. I ended up in the ER. This is serious stuff, people.
I take these with orange juice to help with absorption. It also helps with the constipation. Plus, it tastes better than swallowing the pills with water.
