I've been taking Finasteride 5mg for the past six months to treat my BPH, and while it has helped with my urination issues, I've also experienced some side effects. I wanted to start this thread to share my experience, learn from others, and discuss the potential long-term effects. My doctor assured me that the side effects are usually temporary, but I'm still concerned about the possibility of persistent sexual side effects. Has anyone else had a similar experience? How did you cope with the side effects?

I've been taking Finasteride for a few months and it has worked for me. I have only experienced feeling tired or weak on some days, but it doesnt last long!

I stopped taking Finasteride after a few months because the side effects were too much for me. I'd rather deal with the occasional discomfort than live with constant ejaculation issues.

I had no side effects from this drug, but I'm on the lowest dosage (2.5mg). Every person is different. But yes, the sexual side effects do concern me.
