I've been taking Fioricet Tablets (50-325-40mg) for a few months now to manage my tension headaches. The combination of butalbital, acetaminophen, and caffeine has been a lifesaver, but I've started to worry about the long-term effects. I've read about some pretty severe side effects, and I'm not sure if it's worth the risk. Has anyone else had similar concerns? What's your experience with Fioricet? I've been on Fioricet for over a year and haven't had any major issues. Just be careful with the dosage and don't mix it with other meds without consulting your doctor.
I've had some liver issues with it. Be sure to get regular check-ups if you're on this long-term.
I've never had issues with Fioricet, but I've found that it makes me really drowsy. I just take it at night and it works out for me.
I take it on an as-needed basis and it works great for me. Just be smart about it
Be cautious with this one. I ended up in the ER with severe stomach issues. Turns out I was taking it too often. Stick to the prescription guidelines.
